A casting actress accused of rape… Big scandal a few days before the film’s release!

This is the scandal of the week! Indeed, Zara Phythian and her husband, Victor Marke are accused of having repeatedly had sex with a 13-year-old girl, a court has heard. The latter, now an adult, had an interview with the police. An exchange which was broadcast to jurors at Nottingham Crown Court in which she described details of these alleged sexual offenses between 2005 and 2008.

Our lovebirds were both martial arts instructors in Nottinghamshire at the time, and the alleged victim told police she looked up to the 36-year-old comedian because of her martial arts success. “I knew it was wrong, but I just didn’t know how to get out of the situation or say anything”she told police. “I remember trying to copy Zara’s reaction back then because I looked up to her and tried to be like her in every way.” As the abuse continued, she said Victor Marke threatened to break her kneecaps if she told anyone. “He just said no one would believe me if I told them anyway”she continued. “They’ve always had power over me.”

As a reminder, Zara Phythian is particularly known for her role as Brunette Zealot, in the film Doctor Strange, released in 2016, with British star, Benedict Cumberbatch. An actor who we find in the sequel, entitled Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness, from the Marvel blockbuster, scheduled for May 4. Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Xochitl Gomez and Patrick Stewart are also part of this five-star cast.
