Thursday, January 27, a car hit a bus shelter in the morning rue du 8 mai in Vendin-le-Vieil. Four high school students waiting for the bus were injured. The emergency services and the police were alerted around 9 a.m. Lthe students went to high school Voltaire at Wingles.

Four students injured

A 17-year-old schoolgirl suffers from a knee fracture. She is transported to the Lens hospital center with another 15-year-old teenager who was also slightly injured in the knee. A 30-year-old man, slightly injured, was taken to Hénin-Beaumont hospital.

Once in high school, two other shocked students, aged 15 and 16, were also taken to hospital for a check-up. They then left with their families.

According to the first findings of the police, the driver of the car was surprised by a car coming out of her parking lot. Wanting to avoid it, she hit the bus stop.
