A driver gave quite a scare to several customers of a shopping center in Saint-Eustache, while his car went to fit into one of the entrances to the vast building, late Thursday morning, on the North Shore of Montreal.
The vehicle smashed through two rows of glass doors to end up inside the mall, near a CIBC branch.
According to our information, the individual was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs. However, he would not have intended to hurt people.
A security perimeter has been erected in the area to protect the scene.
The exact circumstances of the collision remained unknown at the start of the afternoon.
No one was reportedly injured during the events.
