A car catches fire under a residence in Bergerac, five people slightly injured

A car caught fire on the night of Friday April 8 to Saturday April 9, in the Maurice-Béjart alley, in Bergerac. The fire started around 3 am, under a residence with ten apartments. The smoke spread to the accommodation, nineteen people had to be evacuated. Five of them, bothered by the smoke, were transported to Bergerac hospital. The others were relocated by Périgord Habitat or by their own means.

In total, thirty firefighters were mobilized on this fire, until dawn this Saturday.
