Suffering from Tourette’s syndrome, Esmé, 21, is about to shock viewers of the first channel with her performance in “The Voice”. And for good reason, for the fourth evening of the telecrochet blind auditions, the latter decided to perform a song that particularly speaks to her: ” Do not judge me “ by Camille Lellouche.

And if it will be necessary to wait until Saturday March 18, 2023, date of the broadcast of the program, to discover the performance of the young woman, on the site MYTF1, the portrait of Esmé is already available. A little girl’s dream

“It’s been 12 years since it’s been the meeting of the whole family in front of the TV and the worst thing is that they said to themselves ‘it’s boring trader, there is no one in the family who knows sing’. And me in my head, I said to myself ‘but yes, but you don’t know it’”said the young woman in her portrait.

And for good reason, for a long time, the latter hid her love for singing from her family: “I hid this because of my illness. When I was 7 years old, I was diagnosed with Gilles de la Tourette syndrome. Esmé said before explaining how the disease manifests in her: “So it’s at my eye level. I have muscle twitches. Sometimes I make little noises, people think I’m laughing or coughing. I didn’t have too much confidence in myself because I was bullied as I was different”, she confided in front of the cameras of TF1.

Fortunately, Esmé’s friends who arrived “one after another” and whom she considers her “sisters” allowed her to gain confidence in herself “enough to express her passion and share it with all her family and soon TF1 viewers… We can’t wait!
