Candidates still as motivated by the idea of ​​winning and above all, offering happiness on the plates of the chefs who will judge them. Among the contenders for the title, César Lewandowski. A 26-year-old Belgian chef who has every chance of winning the program. Our colleagues from South Info went to meet him and allowed us to learn a lot about him.

Initially, the future candidate of Top chef makes a first revelation. If he is currently cooking in Belgium, and has been for 10 years, it is nevertheless from a French city that he is from. A city in the south of France with a lilting accent that vibrates to the rhythm of OM matches. Indeed, César Lewandowski does indeed come from Marseille. “I am a young chef from Marseille who has become a Brussels heart. It has been 10 years since I moved to Brussels with my parents”he confided at first before saying a little more about his career.

The future candidate of the programM6 says he started out in business school before getting into the kitchen. Not satisfied with his studies, he then decided to leave for England to work as a bartender. This experience then gave him the desire to work in the Horeca sector (hotel, restaurant and café sector: editor’s note). “I went to cooking school in Bordeaux. I loved taking my first steps in the kitchen during my internships and in the houses I went to, like the Hôtel du Palais in Biarritz”he adds.

In fact, this passion for cooking has existed since childhood. Especially since, according to her words, she allowed him “to exist” at a time when he “no longer existed” : “At the age of 8, I had leukemia”. This illness forced the future candidate to Top chef to spend “several months in a bubble room” before staying locked up at home “for a year”. If get out “it’s difficult”as César recognizes, he nevertheless assures us that cooking has enabled him to “tell something and fill in the blanks” within his family. Today, nothing scares him anymore and the chef intends to prove it in a few weeks. And who knows, maybe his talents could land him a spot in the next season ofEmily in Paris on netflix.
