After several months of waiting, fans of The Voice let their joy burst when they zapped on TF1 around 9:15 p.m. The tele-hook has made a comeback with new faces. Amel Bent and Vianney have found their chair, just like Zazie, five years later. However, it was a great first… in France for Big Flo and Oli. The Toulouse rappers were well received with candidates as talented as each other. But Aurélien particularly moved the youngest of the brothers because of his choice of music. Indeed, the 34-year-old young man interpreted the mythical Ave Maria by Caccini. “I confess that I had an emotion because in my story it’s a rather special song, it’s a song that I listened to a lot with a friend from my neighborhood, well I’m going to spoil the atmosphere but it’s the song she asked for at her funeral, but I only keep the good memories every time it touches me”he explained.

The artist faced the death of his best friend when he was 13 years old. It is in the title Les gens tristes, taken from the duo’s latest album, that evokes this tragedy! In January, Oli had posted in story instagram this message : “Problem of the day: radios don’t really want to play ‘Les gens tristes’. Too dark or a bit slow, etc”.
For the record, Aurélien managed to return the seats of the entire jury. This native of Saint-Pierre-de-Clairac finally chose to continue his journey on the show with Zazie. And it is Florent Pagny who will be delighted to learn that his friend respects their pact.
