“Big pressure and a lot of stress”

On this occasion, Louise Bourrat, who had disgusted viewers during the semi-final broadcast on June 8, confided in our colleagues from TV 7 Days on this ultimate challenge which did not go as planned. “There is the grandeur of the decor, this somewhat ceremonial side… A lot of pressure and a lot of stress! (…) I think I had minimized the difficulty of the event”began by declaring the young Chef.

Who, in addition to all that, suffers from a health problem, which she particularly suffered that day. “Even before the last plate, I almost collapsed during the final because I was sick. I have endometriosis and I was taking pills that day for pain. I hadn’t slept all night and had a panic attack in the morning.”, she explained. Endometriosis is “a common gynecological disease that affects nearly 10% of women. It is characterized by the presence, outside the uterine cavity, of tissue similar to that of the lining of the uterus (called endometrium)”as indicated on the health insurance website Ameli. For Louise Bourrat the pain was so intense in this final that it was “one of the worst and hardest days of his life”.

“I felt guilty for not being on top, which made me feel even worse. It was a vicious circle. Throughout the final, I told myself that I must not let go, that everything had an end and that I could soon return home to Lisbon”she concluded.
