The presidential election of 2022 is approaching and the candidates begin their campaign by evoking certain very sensitive subjects such as the vaccination pass. On the 23h set of franceinfo on Sunday January 23, the journalist from France Télévisions, Jean-Christophe Galeazzi, takes stock of what could happen in the coming days.
Candidates for the 2022 presidential election are mostly campaigning while France is under tension on certain issues. Protesters opposed to the vaccine pass notably attacked LREM deputy Romain Grau in Céret (Pyrénées-Orientales). “Candidates will have to be particularly careful not to throw oil on the fire”, underlines the journalist of France Télévisions, Jean-Christophe Galeazzi, on the set of 23 hours of franceinfo Sunday January 23.
Monday, January 24, President Emmanuel Macron will travel to Creuse before going to Haute-Vienne. A visit that should be closely scrutinized. “We are right in the window of opportunity for a candidacy announcement”, explains the journalist. For her part, Marine Le Pen will announce her wishes to the press. She also tries “to stand out more and more from Éric Zemmour”, says Jean-Christophe Galeazzi. Éric Zemmour will be in court on Thursday concerning his candidacy announcement clip which would have used certain images without authorization. On the left, from Thursday to Sunday, more than 400,000 registrants will be called upon to vote in the popular primary. “Warning: Jean-Luc Mélenchon, Yannick Jadot and Anne Hidalgo still refuse to be put to the vote”, recalls the journalist.
