Wednesday, December 15 begins the vaccination of children. It is also the deadline for your third dose when you are over 65 years old. In the Yvelines, a bus is running to allow the most isolated people to get their booster dose.

In Beynes in the Yvelines, a “vaccy bus” installed in the parking lot for the day attracts a lot of people. No appointment before the beginning of January for this woman over 65, the bus is timely “It’s a good incentive”, she says. A couple did not hesitate to make an appointment to save their health pass. Like 480,000 people, these two residents received a text from Health Insurance informing them of the deadline.

Thanks to the vaccy bus, 150 appointments have been made and more than 200 doses are available for the day. “This allows isolated people to come”, indicates Yves Revel, mayor of the town. In the rest room installed in the town hall, a few younger people jumped at the opportunity, to secure “parties with the grandparents”, explains a lady who got her injection a few days after making an appointment. More than 15 million French people have received their booster dose.
