A bus hit a daycare center in Laval, the third largest city in Quebec (Canada), on the outskirts of Montreal, Wednesday, February 8. Two young children died, police said. Six other children were taken to hospital and “are out of danger”added Erika Landry, spokesperson for the Laval police where the daycare is located. The driver, a 51-year-old man, was arrested for homicide and dangerous driving.she added.

The collision happened around 8:30 a.m. local time. The police are investigating whether the act was intentional. The man behind the wheel was “half undressed” and relatives saw it “deliberately rushing into daycare”testified on Radio Canada the wife of a man who helped to control the driver.

Justin Trudeau ‘devastated’
