Images show significant destruction of buildings along the border.
Israeli soldiers died in an operation to clear buildings in the Gaza Strip just 600 meters from the Israeli border. The army speaks of securing the area and suggests the creation of a “buffer zone”, without inhabitants, along this border. Several articles in the Israeli and American press raise this question already raised by Benjamin Netanyahu. Satellite images seem to illustrate this project well.
