A bronca led to a suspension of the session in the National Assembly during the debates on the pension reform on Tuesday February 7 when the deputy LFI Adrien Quatennens was going to speak for the first time since his conviction for domestic violence, noted the reporter of franceinfo present on site.

The deputy from the North had received the floor from the presiding officer to present one of his amendments when many deputies began to boo him. A suspension of several minutes was granted before the deputy could finally speak.

Adrien Quatennens returned to the Assembly on January 11, after he had been sentenced on December 13 for slapping his wife. The deputy from the North now sits among the non-registered because of his temporary exclusion from the La France insoumise group.
