A Breton woman won 109 million euros in the Euromillions during the September 1 draw, announces La Française des jeux to France Bleu Armorique and France Bleu Breizh Izel, confirming information from the newspaper Le Télégramme.
The player validated her winning ticket at a point of sale in Brittany. For the moment, this is the biggest gain pocketed for the year 2023 in France.
La Française des jeux indicates that the owner of the ticket is already known. “The winner has come forward to collect her winnings. Payment will be made in the coming days. We will then be able to specify in which establishment the ticket was purchased, and what the winner intends to do with her winnings.”specifies La Française des jeux.
Last February, a woman from Sarthe won 102 million euros at the Euromillions in Arçonnay, a record for Pays de la Loire.
