The record lotto jackpot was won this Saturday. 30 million euros were at stake. This is the largest sum won since the creation of the game in 1976 according to the Française des Jeux. The last, won in September, amounted to 26 million euros. The grid has been validated in Ille-et-Vilaine.
“In the history of the Loto, this is the seventh time that the jackpot has exceeded the symbolic mark of 20 million“indicates the FDJ. If the sum has grown to this point, it is because 28 consecutive draws without a rank 1 winner.
The winning numbers are: 5, 18, 23, 34, 44 and 5. The winner has 60 days to make himself known.
Euromillions records
Records of games of chance have been linked in recent weeks in France. In October, a Tahitian thus won the largest sum ever recorded at Euromillions, namely 220 million euros. And last week, a Frenchman landed a jackpot at 162 million, again at Euromillions.
