A blue, cloudy sky, but no temperature displayed. The Météo France mobile application and website are disrupted by a breakdown on Wednesday April 12. “The first difficulties arose” from Tuesday evening, confirms to franceinfo the public establishment. The website which concerns the level of vigilance in which the departments are classified is also affected by this breakdown, the cause of which is not yet known, according to Météo France.

Nevertheless, the official meteorological service manages to give information on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. It is also on these social networks that Météo France announced that three departments were placed, Wednesday morning, in orange vigilance due to the risk of strong winds.

“Our technical teams are mobilized”says Météo France on Twitter about this breakdown.

“Our services are fully mobilized, we are doing the maximum”confirms Météo France to franceinfo, while acknowledging that “It’s going to take a while to fix” and “this is not the first time that bugs have happened”.
