Opened Tuesday, July 26, the dedicated vaccination center against monkey pox, in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, had to close temporarily, announced the site of the town hall of Paris, Monday August 8. This closure is due to “a break in the cold chain”. “The qualities of several batches of vaccines administered between August 2 and August 4, 2022 have been impaired”, without this entailing any health risk for the vaccinated, specifies the site.

People who have been vaccinated on these dates are invited to be re-vaccinated, a step “necessary to be effectively protected against the virus”, announces the Town Hall. Vaccinations will resume on Tuesday, in the same center.

This announcement comes after the time between two doses of the vaccine was extended, except for immunocompromised people, as announced by the Ministry of Health on Thursday. It was previously set at 28 days and the new recommended duration is still unknown.
