“Marienia leaves concrete“, “Kasu!” (caution), or even “Lurra ez da salgai” (the land is not for sale). The Bouygues Immobilier agency in Anglet, on the edge of the boulevard du BAB was the target of taggers on the night of Thursday 03 to Friday 04 November. The authors of the slogans were visibly challenge the company’s involvement in the disputed Marienia project
in Cambo-les-Bains/Kanbo. On Saturday October 22, 900 people had demonstrated to denounce this real estate project which, according to them, would destroy valuable agricultural land.
Complaints for tags
The real estate group concerned has not yet reacted to indicate whether it would file a complaint. Last March, in St Pée-sur-Nivelle/Senpere, six complaints had been filed
. Real estate agencies had been tagged to denounce soaring prices in the town, some slogans then warned “Gaur tindua, bihar bonbak” (today the paint, tomorrow the bombs).
