A boil water advisory was issued as of Saturday in several areas west of Montreal.
This notice concerns the sectors of Pierrefonds-Roxboro, Pointe-Claire, Dollard-Des Ormeaux, Kirkland, L’Île-Bizard – Sainte-Geneviève and Baie-D’Urfé, due to a result that did not comply with a quality test some water.
Residents concerned must therefore boil the water for at least one minute before consuming it or using it to brush their teeth, said the City of Montreal.
“This instruction is in effect until further notice. As soon as the situation is restored, a notice of return to normal will be issued, ”he said.
