In Spain, the government has just agreed on a bill allowing, from the age of 16, to change, on simple request, the mention of one’s gender in the civil status. The text will be examined in Parliament in the coming weeks. Teenagers between the ages of 12 and 16 will also be able to change their civil status, but under certain conditions, in particular to be accompanied by their legal representatives.
In the United Kingdom, a gas explosion caused one death and several injuries. In Birmingham, central England, a woman died in the explosion of her house. Some witnesses are still in shock.
