A biker controlled at 191 km / h instead of 80 km / h in Tarascon

The gendarmes of Bouches-du-Rhône are always mobilized to control the speed on the roads. Last weekend several large excesses were noted. Offenses which most of the time have resulted in the withdrawal of the driver’s license in cars or motorcycles. In the town of Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône, the driver of a Range Rover was checked by motorcyclists from the BMO of Saint-Chamas at a speed of 172 km/h instead of 90 km/h.

Another motorist was checked in the town of Meyreuil, driving a BMW 5 Series at 197 km/h instead of 110 km/h by the soldiers of the motorized platoon of Meyrargues and the BMO of Aix. And then on the side of Tarascon it is a motorcyclist who was controlled at 191 km / h instead of 80 km / h. On their Facebook page the gendarmes of Bouches-du-Rhône explain that the permits have been withdrawn and the vehicles immobilized. Law enforcement also wishes to point out that “speed, even in good weather, is one of the main causes of accidents and above all an aggravating factor in the consequences”.
