This weekend, it will be sunny and warm in Montreal. Make the most of it: the summer heat is over.

The mercury is expected to climb to 35 degrees with the Humidex factor over the weekend in Montreal.
Nothing exceptional for the beginning of September, underlines Jean-Philippe Bégin, meteorologist at Environment Canada.
“Summer is not over yet,” he explains. But it is coming to an end. First sign: the nights are getting longer and longer. “We lose a little more than 3 minutes a day,” says Mr. Bégin.
On Monday, the temperature will drop to 27 degrees, under cloudy skies. Humidity will remain high at least until the middle of the week, which will favor showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday and Wednesday. “We could accumulate a lot of water in places,” says Jean-Philippe Bégin.
In Outaouais, the rain could start as early as Sunday afternoon.
