It was at a place called Les Granges, in a house somewhat isolated from the town that the fire took place around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The building is divided into two apartments. The fire only affected one of the two. The occupant, a 94-year-old woman, died despite the rapid intervention of the emergency services, which mobilized around fifteen firefighters and four vehicles.
A police investigation will have to determine the causes of this fatal fire.
