A 9-year-old child seriously injured after being hit by a car in Frahier-et-Chatebier

A child was seriously injured after being hit by a car on Monday afternoon, rue des Creuses, in Frahier-et-Chatebier, Haute-Saône.

Around 5 p.m., the nine-year-old child was riding a bicycle, helmet screwed on his head, when at the end of the street where he lives, he was knocked down by a car as he tried to cross. According to the mayor of the town, he complained of pain in his jaw and shoulder. His vital prognosis is not engaged but he had to be airlifted to the University Hospital of Besançon.

The driver, a resident of the town, was found in shock. She was not driving at a brisk pace, further specifies the mayor.
