Marc Vendôme, CEO of Villa Prisme, explains the new trend: “This greatly increases the cost of construction, and we have to pass it on in our selling prices. “ But the promoter remains hopeful: “What we hope in this region is that the price of land – which has exploded over the past four years, can play on the adjustment variable and that our clients can negotiate the price of their land a little lower. . ” This entrepreneur, who builds an average of 350 single-family homes per year in this region, nevertheless fears a sharp decline from the first quarter of 2022.
