The facts took place early this Saturday morning, around 2 o’clock. The Haute-Garonne firefighters were called to a fire on a 4G/5G antenna and digital terrestrial television (DTT). The fire had taken on a pylon located in Lacroix-Falgarde near Toulouse.

In total, a dozen firefighters and two machines were mobilized to put out the flames. The cause of the accident is not yet known.
The mast is used by TDF for broadcasting digital television, so households that receive television in this way have a black screen this morning. 5G antennas belonging to Bouygues Telecom and Free were also affected, SFR has a 4G antenna there. Customers of these operators living in this sector may therefore be affected.
