The drama took place around 4 p.m. Friday afternoon in Marcillé, near Melle in Deux-Sèvres. A 58-year-old man is died after being electrocuted in front of his home. The 58-year-old man noticed an electrical malfunction in his home. He therefore decides to go directly to electrical installation which is outside, close to his home. It is by working on this installation that the resident of Marcillé receives a violent electric shock.
Despite the rapid intervention of emergency services, the man could not be revived. A investigation of the gendarmerie brigade of Melle will be open to understand the reasons for this tragic accident.
