A 45-year-old man suspected of having fatally stabbed his brother on Thursday July 13 in the middle of the street in Valence, in the Drôme, was indicted for murder and placed in pre-trial detention on Saturday July 15, reports France Bleu Drôme Ardèche.
This man is suspected of having stabbed his brother, with whom he has not got along for years, in the Chaffit district, south of Valence, Thursday July 13 around 4:30 p.m. When the suspect came across his brother by chance in the street, he thought he was holding a gun, felt threatened, took out a knife and struck him several fatal blows. In reality, his brother was holding a sandwich in his hand.
The stabber was immediately arrested and taken into custody. He is already known to justice for participating in a criminal association.
