A 34-year-old woman was discovered dead on Friday May 3 in a hotel in Saint-Jean-de-Luz (Pyrénées-Atlantiques), France Bleu Pays Basque learned from the Bayonne prosecutor’s office, confirming information from South West.
The woman’s body was found around 1 p.m. this Friday at the Brit hotel in Paris, opposite the city’s train station. His companion, aged 35, was arrested and taken into police custody. It was he himself who informed the police. The Bayonne public prosecutor’s office indicates that an investigation has been opened for “assassination by spouse”, that is to say with premeditation. She was entrusted to the Bayonne judicial police.
This 34-year-old woman had already been seriously injured after falling from the fifth floor of the Ibis hotel in Ciboure, in the same department, in mid-April, reports France Bleu Pays Basque. She was released from the hospital only a few days ago.
The day after this fall, the companion was placed in police custody and then released. This man was already known to the police for domestic violence. Since Wednesday, the woman had disappeared from the hospital where she was treated after her first fall and was on the missing persons file.
