a 33-year-old man in pre-trial detention after the discovery of a body aboard a sailboat

In Saint Brieuc, a 33 year old man is indicted this Wednesday, January 19 for intentional violence having caused death without intention to give it. In other words, he is suspected of having accidentally killed a 67-year-old man, an acquaintance, on the night of Sunday January 16 to Monday January 17 on a sailboat in Paimpol (Côtes d’Armor). The body of the victim was found early in the morning by the gendarmes.

Placed in pre-trial detention

According to the first elements available to the Saint-Brieuc prosecution, the two men had known each other for a long time. The track of a fight on bottom of alcohol is for the moment privileged. The suspect, already known for similar facts, is for the moment remanded in custody.
