In Marseille, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, a man in his thirties was shot dead on Wednesday May 3. He had recently been released from prison. The perpetrator(s) are still at large.

The victim, a 32-year-old man, was targeted in his car, parked in front of a grocery store in the 13th arrondissement of Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône). Hit by bullets, he died just after the arrival of help, Wednesday, May 3 in the evening. According to the first elements of the investigation, the man had just served a sentence for complicity in murder. For a local resident, it’s a shock. “I have lived there for 15 years, this is the very first time I have seen this. So even I am starting to be afraid”he says.

A white march in solidarity with the victims

Since the beginning of the year in Marseille, 18 people have died by homicide in settling scores. Among the cities concerned, the city of Félix-Pyat, where three people lost their lives last month. Mobilized, the mothers of the neighborhood feel abandoned. In solidarity with the victims of the assassinations, a white march was organized on Wednesday.
