A 15-year-old boy seriously injured after falling from the second floor of his high school in Méru

A 15-year-old student at Lycée Condorcet in Méru fell from the second floor. He was transported by helicopter to the University Hospital of Amiens.

A 15-year-old fell from the second floor of his school. “Around 10:30 a.m., a student from the Condorcet high school in Méru (born in 2006) fell from the 2nd floor after stepping over the railing of a spiral staircase“, specifies Caroline Tharot, public prosecutor of Beauvais.

Firefighters provided first aid to the victim, who was still unconscious. Seriously injured, the high school student was airlifted to the University Hospital of Amiens. An investigation is opened for “investigation of the cause of injury“.

A psychological counseling unit has been set up by the directorate of the departmental services of National Education of the Oise, for students, teachers and parents who want it.
