A 14-year-old teenager, suspected of having wanted to commit an attack in a shopping center in Lille (North), was indicted on Friday March 22 for “terrorist criminal association with a view to preparing one or more crimes against people”Franceinfo learned from the National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor’s Office (Pnat), confirming information from BFMTV.

The 14-year-old young man was arrested on Wednesday in the North. He is accused of having shared ISIS propaganda, “terrorist organization whose ideology he clearly shared”, specifies the Pnat. According to the prosecution, he is also accused of having planned to commit an attack, “in particular, against a shopping center”.

The teenager was placed under judicial supervision. Judicial information must make it possible to “check the completion status of the violent action project(s)”adds the prosecution.
