A serious traffic accident took place this Saturday, May 7 in the early evening in the town of Mauriac (Cantal). A 21-year-old driver went off the road on the RD122. On board, four passengers, all minors.
In a still unexplained way, the vehicle rolled over. A 14-year-old girl died in the crash. A young miner, suffering from a trauma to the pelvis, was rushed to hospital in Aurillac.
Lthe driver, in a state of shock, was also transported to the hospital in a state of relative emergency. An investigation must be carried out by the gendarmerie of Mauriac to determine the exact causes of the accident.
