A large fire brigade is currently at work in Toulouse, Sunday, May 28, for a violent fire. A 12-story apartment building is in flames. The fire is under control.
From 5:51 p.m. the SDIS31 firefighters respond to a violent apartment fire, rue de l’Ukraine in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne).
The fire is important and is currently spreading to the upper floors in a 12-storey building located in the Farouette district. Reinforcements have been requested for this intervention which promises to be particularly delicate.
But thanks to a quick intervention on the spot, the fire was finally brought under control. The start of the fire took place in a cellar on the 9th floor before spreading to the facade.
Two victims were affected by the fumes and were taken care of on the spot.
In total, 10 machines and 44 firefighters are on the scene
