Montreal businessman Robert Miller was arrested by investigators from the Montreal City Police Service (SPVM) in connection with allegations of sexual abuse against several young women, some of whom were minors at the time of the alleged acts.
The SPVM confirmed this during a press briefing on Thursday.
Future Electronics company founder Robert Miller resigned as president and CEO in February 2023 amid these allegations.
He sold the company for more than $5 billion to a Taiwanese semiconductor distributor after filing a class action alleging he paid minors for sexual services.
