Stéphan Bureau finds his way back to television sets. Less than a year after the surprise cancellation of Upside-down worldthe debate show that he piloted at TVA, Télé-Québec announces that he will host A wonderful time.
According to a press release from the broadcaster, A wonderful time will be interested in “the changes that are shaking up our lives”. Each week, Stéphan Bureau will address three ongoing upheavals in our society, in the company of guests who experience these changes on a daily basis. We promise a “whirlwind” that touches on the social, cultural, sporting and political domains.
It is a production of Sphère Média, the same company which was behind the first season of Upside-down world, before the show passed into the hands of Attraction, and was canceled at the last moment by TVA. Details concerning the entry on the air ofA wonderful time remain unknown.
Télé-Québec’s vice-president of content, Nadine Dufour, took the opportunity to praise the merits of Stéphan Bureau in writing. “I am convinced that he is the perfect person to take a unique look at the phenomena that affect us and make us want to look at our times with lucidity, while showing a smile,” she says.
