Marine Jacquemin has covered the biggest international conflicts for television. She published a book “My wars”, in which she looks back on her career as a war reporter at TF1.

Marine Jacquemin has traveled the history of the last 35 years as close as possible to the action and wars that have affected the world. From the fall of the Berlin Wall to the wars in the Balkans, including Iraq and Gaza, the former war reporter on the TF1 channel finally took up the pen to write a book, “My wars”, behind the scenes of his reports. “I had never thought of writing a book. It was the chance of two women who pushed me to do it. Looking back on your past, when you have never done it, is difficult, just like to exhume all the distresses that we encountered during 35 years of war on the ground”she explains.

Marine Jacquemin thus looks back on her career as a war reporter which took her to all the conflict zones on the planet. A strong testimony. “There are many terrible things but at the same time a lot of happiness and tenderness. What attaches us to these wars is the meeting with these completely lost people who constantly call you for help”she assures.
