Fast-food type restaurants are attracting more and more French people. The sector’s turnover has never been higher.
Fat, sweet or salty, fast food is appreciated by many French people. “Honestly, it’s good, [même si] Let’s not overdo it, because it’s not good for your health.”, admits a student. “After dieting, it feels good. These simple, practical and quick meals contribute to the growing success of the sector. In three years, the turnover of fast-food has increased significantly. An architecture student admits to eating fried chicken on average twice a month. “We don’t necessarily have the means to go to a restaurant.” she explains.
