Having attended the Hyrôme high school in Chemillé-en-Anjou for three years, Angélique’s son is 18 years old. He is finishing his final year in the professional baccalaureate.
During a press conference this Monday afternoon, the prosecutor clarified that in the establishment, he had never been talked about. No disciplinary problems, the young man has never had any dealings with the justice system or social services.
The mother describes her son as “calm. Exactly. That’s it. If he had problems, he never told us anything, maybe that’s why too. Yes. It’s complicated all the same.”
“I don’t blame him. I know that life isn’t the way you want it to be. That’s how it is.” she said again.

The high school student was taken into police custody and an investigation into attempted murder was entrusted to the Cholet research brigade.
According to the first elements of the investigation, the author of the stabbing shows no obvious imbalance, no obvious reason for this action. To investigators, he expressed general uneasiness and declared that he had wanted to “release the pressure” by making a violent gesture towards someone.
