A new Israeli strike in the Gaza Strip left at least 35 dead according to Hamas. The Israeli army insists that it respected “international law” in targeting terrorists.

After experiencing the horror, the inhabitants of a refugee camp in Rafah are frightened by the damage. Nothing remains of the tents in which the refugees lived. During the night, the camp was targeted by Israeli strikes. Amid the scenes of chaos, firefighters tried to put out the fire while others worked to extract the charred bodies from the rubble. Emergency services treated dozens of injured people, including many women and children transported to hospitals. Some are taken directly to the morgue. Several dozen people died. The flames ravaged tents and makeshift shelters of displaced Palestinians.

The targeted camp is located northwest of Rafah. It is managed by the UN agency for Palestinian refugees. In its defense, the Israeli army claims to have acted in accordance with international law, and that its shots targeted two Hamas commanders. The Doctors Without Borders association denounces an inaudible justification.
