“It’s not surprising”Renew MEP Bernard Guetta reacted Monday, May 20 on franceinfo, after the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) requested arrest warrants against Benyamin Netanyahu and Hamas leaders.
“There are quite enough suspicions of war crimes against the leaders of Hamas, against the Israeli Prime Ministeraccording to Bernard Guetta. Since the end of October, this government has been bombing, without any respect whatsoever, the population of Gaza, and should we be surprised? I am not surprised that the prosecutor wants to bring charges against the men responsible for these two crimes.”
“We all know that there have been considerable obstacles to the distribution of humanitarian aidaccording to the MEP. We all know the scale of the bombings on Gaza and that we cannot say that these bombings are targeting Hamas.”.
