Verdun recently added a new butcher shop which also serves as a wine merchant and daytime dining room. Verdun Beef is one of those great, versatile neighborhood spots where you can dine with a decadent sandwich and a glass of wine or have an aperitif, then leave with a few groceries – high quality meats, condiments, fine produce, snacks, ready. – to eat – and even with a beautiful bottle from the Primavin agency portfolio.
It was the team from the neighboring restaurant, Verdun Beach, who brought this superb business to life. Philippe Jacquelin, Marc Frandon and Charles Garant are joined by head butcher Yann Vadaru (formerly with Pascal le butcher), as well as Anaïs Marchand and Simon Généreux-Vien, both from the Primavin agency.
As it should be, the butcher and wine merchant pays maniacal attention to the origin of the meats found in the displays and avoids waste at all costs.

All butcher’s leftovers are transformed into excellent drinking broth and dog treats, among other things. In short, everyone – except vegetarians! – can find their happiness there.
Open Tuesday to Sunday
