The hunt to find the fugitive Mohamed Amra and his accomplices continues on Thursday May 16. Interpol has issued a red notice to search for him worldwide.
He is now the subject of a red notice at Interpol, the highest level of dangerousness. Three days after his escape, Mohamed Amra was reported to all the police around the world. On the video surveillance images of the fugitive, we see him dressed in black, with white sneakers on his feet, walking backwards to join his accomplices. Investigators are now wondering about the profile of Mohamed Amra. Incarcerated in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône) three months ago, he was transferred to Rouen (Seine-Maritime) by four guards in a simple van. According to one of the transfer agents, Mohamed Amra was particularly attentive to the route taken.
More than 350 police officers, led by serious crime specialists, are mobilized to track down Mohamed Amra and the commando. For three days, the shock wave has remained immense among prison administration staff. After sadness, it is anger that dominates. The operations “dead prison” continue throughout France, Thursday May 16, to warn of the dangerousness of their profession.
