Two more extensions at Section Paloise. After, among others, those of Le Bail, Debaes, Tagitagivalu, Roudil, Manu and Martin Puech, two managers of the Pau locker room extend their entire contract: Luke Whitelock and Jale Vatubua. Both extend until 2024, with an optional additional year for the second.

For Jale Vatubua, who arrived in Pau in 2012 at the age of 20, this therefore means that he will cross the decade in Béarn at the end of the season. He has already worn the Green and White jersey more than 150 times. Luke Whitelock arrived at the end of 2019, very quickly taking an important place in the 3rd line of Béarn. So much so that he is one of the captains of the Section Paloise this season.
Jale Vatubua’s reaction
The 3/4 Fijian center of 30 years reacted on the site of the club: ” I have been very happy here since I joined the club in 2012. I would like to be the man of one club. I grew up with the Section which makes me very proud as well as being part of the continuity of the club. I blossomed with my family in Pau, I could only stay! ”
Luke Whitelock’s reaction
The New Zealand third line, who will turn 31 at the end of the month, reacted for the club: ” Since my arrival, I have been very happy at the club. This season, I feel that we are turning a corner. I can sense a group that is hungry, that wants to go to the top. I really like the Section project led by Sébastien. I love the region and the city, I love the atmosphere of the Hameau stadium. All of this made me really want to stay! ”
Sébastien Piqueronies
For the club site, the manager reacted: ” We are delighted with the extension of these two leaders, they occupy an essential place within the group. Their level of requirement and commitment on the ground pull the collective upwards. It’s a very good thing to build over time with good boys, attached to the territory and to the club and who share our ambitions. ”
