Mission Europe. Jean-Louis Gasset’s players travel to Reims on Wednesday May 15 for the penultimate day of Ligue 1. To maintain hope of playing in one of the European competitions next season, the Marseillais must win at Auguste-Delaune, then at Le Havre on Sunday. They will therefore have to learn to shine on the outside. This season, OM have only won twice away from the Vélodrome, among the bottom two in the standings, and have only collected 11 of their 47 points away from home.
The Rémois for their part have nothing left to play. Currently 11th in the standings, they lost any chance of reaching Europe after their draw against Brest. At a minimum, they could achieve their best result in the league since the 2019-2020 season.
