Charlotte Cardin is preparing the release of her next EP, A Week in Nashvilleby unveiling the piece on Monday Lonely with Our Love. The song will be part of a set of songs to be released on May 17.
The song Lonely with Our Love was co-written by Charlotte Cardin herself as well as Gabe Simon (Nashville-based writer and director). The latter also produced the piece.
“Navigating the distance is a feeling that is familiar to me. This is precisely why I wanted to write a song about this shared solitude which often finds its place in the silences between two souls”, describes Charlotte Cardin to talk about her new song, with a melancholy text, in which she describes the difficulties of a long-distance relationship, but also the positive that comes out of it.
We admit this project was initially intended for the American market, in the press release announcing the release of this new song and the new EP which will follow. The American public is far from indifferent to the talents of Charlotte Cardin, who is increasingly making her mark there, notably by registering on the charts and giving concerts in several major cities.
