(Toronto) No tickets for Taylor Swift shows? No problem. Events are organized in Toronto for all “Swifties”, whether or not they have obtained tickets to the singer’s shows in November.
Organizers of the event titled “Toronto’s Version: Taylgate’24” will bring fans of all ages of the American pop star together in an indoor space before his concerts.
The event will include a DJ spinning Taylor Swift’s biggest hits, singing spaces for the brave who want to take the mic and a “huge” space to create friendship bracelets.
Swift will perform at the Rogers Center in Toronto over two weekends, November 14-16 and November 21-23. The “Taylgate” event will take place daily on these dates from 1 p.m. until 11 p.m. at the nearby Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Event co-producer Bram Goldstein credits his two teenage daughters for inspiring the idea, saying they wanted to meet other Swift fans while avoiding the cold weather of early winter.
He says Taylgate will provide a “safe, indoor and accessible space” for young fans, while their parents and older fans will also be welcome. Tickets for all six dates are on sale for $55.
