1.5 million spectators in one week: it’s a huge success for Un p’tit chose en plus, Artus’ first film. To escape the police, two robbers have no choice but to join a summer camp for disabled people. At the cinema, the feature film had the best start of the year. This tender and accessible comedy chooses to laugh with people with disabilities and not at their expense.

A film that defends difference

For Artus, Clovis Cornillac and a dozen amateur actors who themselves have disabilities, success is a small victory. “It’s the kind of film that defends difference”, assures actor Stanislas Carmont. A message that the team will bring to the Croisette on May 23. Before going up the steps of the Cannes Film Festival, all that’s missing is their costumes.
