(Toronto) An alleged intruder at Drake’s Toronto home had to be hospitalized after suffering serious injuries during a confrontation with security guards, police say.
This is the second reported intruder at the rapper’s mansion, located in the Bridle Path neighborhood, since one of his security guards was injured in a high-profile shooting outside the gates early Tuesday.
These incidents come against the backdrop of a feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, in which the two artists have increasingly traded personal attacks and unsubstantiated allegations.
Toronto police say no charges have been laid after officers were called to the mansion Thursday afternoon about a trespasser on the property who got into an altercation with guards before the arrival of the police.
Police said the suspected intruder was taken to hospital. Paramedics confirmed they had treated an adult in serious condition, but whose injuries were not life-threatening.
Another person who attempted to gain access to the property on Wednesday was apprehended under the Mental Health Act.
